back2BLUE is all about the shift in seasons: to blue winter in the North, and blue skies of summer in the Global South. It’s about the paradoxical shift in moods, reflected in the blues — how the saddest songs often bring the greatest joy; how the darkest times can bring the most soul searching light. So this RaidFest is also about electronic music DJs playin’ the blues — in all of its heartbreak but also all of its uplifting joy. Whatever genre this takes is up to you — keeping in mind our general techno, house, and progressive bent, from deep to dub, minimal to bangin’ variants.
